As well as providing Ambulance Services, our programmes and team of over 11,000 staff and volunteers are helping to build strong, resilient communities across the motu; supporting everyone in Aotearoa to live healthier, happier and longer lives.Job DescriptionReporting to the District Youth Manager, you will provide mentoring, development and people leadership to the Divisional and Assistant Divisional Managers within the Wellington City area.A pivotal role in the Youth team, your well-honed organisational skills, and proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships will be critical in supporting the Divisions to deliver on the IBP and Youth Strategy objectives.
As an Area Youth Manager, you will be provided with the opportunity to gain self-reward and develop both personally and professionally.About the role:Assist the District Youth Manager to meet the requirements of the Youth Business PlanSupport Divisions to develop and deliver high quality programmes in line with the national curriculum, ensuring the level of service delivered to youth and the community is consistent and of the highest qualityPromote the youth programme to increase youth and adult membershipSupport and manage Divisional recruitment through events and completion of recruitment processesProvide on-going support and mentoring to your DivisionsConduct audits and inspections to ensure divisions are operating within their guidelines and St John policyOrganise and actively participate in District/Regional youth events and activitiesSt John's Youth Programme provides young people with the experience to gain confidence, empathy, life, health and leadership skills - offering a fantastic opportunity for them to experience new things and of course ... have fun!
