Area Service Manager Christchurch

The Role:
HDPS has a rare and exciting new opportunity for an experienced and motivated individual to join the leadership team in the position of Area Service Manager Christchurch. In this role, you will have responsibility for two branches based in Christchurch and Rakaia, Canterbury.
Responsibilities Include:
Effective management and leadership of your team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is achieved. Lead by example.
Identify clients' needs and explain/demonstrate HDPS services to them, which may involve technical descriptions of products and the way they may be used.
Ensure branch financial budgets, WIP, and other targets are achieved monthly.
Mentor staff and identify training needs.
Provide regular reports to the Senior Leadership team.
Seek out new business opportunities.
Ensure that the company's Health and Safety policies are adhered to at all times.
Work with Managers of other HDPS locations to build a ONE TEAM environment.
Attend and actively participate in Monthly Management meetings.

Experience of leading teams in a customer service environment to high performance through coaching, mentoring, and development activities.
Experience of growing customer base, developing customer relationships, and increasing revenue.
The ability to manage administration and work to tight deadlines in a calm, accurate, and effective manner.
Good computer literacy with experience in Outlook, Excel, and general invoicing software.
