We have a fantastic opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to join our Portakabin Scotland team to build strong long-lasting customer relations with existing and new clients!This role will be target-driven focusing on work-winning activity, where you should maximise all opportunities to promote Portakabin products and services through reactive and proactive approaches.You will work alongside Bid, Projects, and Service teams, and be a strong communicator, organised, work with accuracy, attention to detail, and have a strong teamwork ethic.Role DetailsSalary: £35,000 - £37,000 plus commission based on performanceCommission: Attractive commission scheme paid quarterlyRole based: Hamilton, ML3 0EJContract type: PermanentAnnual leave: 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidaysRole ResponsibilitiesAchieve outlined turnover and margin targets for your areaIdentify and develop new business opportunities and sectors undertaking targeted business development activityVisit customer sites to provide advice and develop solutionsEnsure that all sales enquiries generated are thoroughly followed up to fully maximise all opportunitiesAchieve all KPIs for opportunity and visit numbersMaintain CRM with accurate data dailyPromote a culture of Health and Safety by taking management responsibility for ensuring safe working and consideration for health and wellbeing.

)Our Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who has:Proven commercial experience, including face-to-face sales experience and business developmentStrong experience of carrying out business development activities (campaign calling and cold calling)Full UK driving licenceKeeps up to date with competitor information and market trendsTarget DrivenListens, consults others, and communicates proactivelyFirst stage interviews will take place w/c 27th January 2025!Even if you do not match all of our 'ideal' criteria we would still be very keen to receive your CV as we love developing our people and may feel that you could be developed into this role.
