About the Role We are searching for a driven and customer-oriented Area Sales Manager to join our sales team in Christchurch.
In this role, you will help maintain and enhance our market position by developing and nurturing positive business relationships to become a trusted business partner.
Your key responsibilities will include: Business Relationships : Build and grow relationships with specifiers, customers, key accounts, merchants and others within the building profession to drive for excellence in Customer Experience.
Sales and Marketing : Monitor and optimise sales performance, actively promote and sell GIB products and systems, and keep customers updated about current marketing initiatives.
Sales Planning: Develop and implement sales plans, analyse market trends, identify opportunities for growth, forecast and develop strategies to achieve targets and organisational goals.
Technical Expertise : Provide expert advice, support, and solutions regarding the application and installation of GIB products and systems About You You'll be an experienced sales professional with solid technical knowledge of the building industry and a thorough understanding of our products and systems.
Your strong technical capability and ability to communicate effectively with customers and specifiers will set you apart.
You will be comfortable dealing with a diverse range of customers, presenting information, influencing decisions and solving problems to achieve business goals.
