Family Works Northern is looking for an experienced and talented Area Manager, with the foresight and direction to lead and manage our multi-disciplinary Tauranga and Whakatane based teams. Comprising Team Leaders, qualified Social Workers and Counsellors, Social Workers in Schools and administration staff, our teams provide a range of strength-based practice services, programmes and community development initiatives to the Bay of Plenty region's children and families. To be successful in this role you will need to have the following: 5 + years strong management experience, combining proven leadership skills and practice supervision ideally in a social services setting Extensive experience working with children and families Demonstrated business acumen and ability to achieve key accountabilities Ability to manage in a multi-cultural and diverse workspace Strong interpersonal relationship competence to develop community relationships in a diverse area Strong local community knowledge and connections.
