The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on, and experience with, customer care, driving operational excellence and efficiencies and be committed to developing people and supporting their training needs.As our Area Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple locations, ensuring that each site operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of customer service and customer care.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely committed to developing people through sound leadership and clear communication.Your Key Responsibilities Will BeDeveloping and inspiring high performance in your people in each of your locations by fostering a culture of efficiency, continuous improvement and professional growth.Provide direction and support to your Team Leader who is your direct report, including at times stepping into their shoes.
This includes participating in the 24 hour, 7 days a week Event Management Roster as required.To drive efficiencies by looking at ways to improve our processes, procedures and work methods while ensuring all outputs provided to customers are safe and compliant, as well as being technically and commercially viable.To operate within your budget, analyse financial results and make recommendations which improve the financial performance of our service.Enhancing operational excellence and efficiency by adopting and upholding industry best practices and processes, ensuring exceptional and consistent customer service delivery to both internal and external customers.To continue to develop and embed the "Safety First'' culture that continuously looks at itself and raises the bar.Collaborating with senior management to develop and take ownership of initiatives and projects.Maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.To Be Successful In This Role, You Will HaveExperience in managing medium sized teams.Proven ability to perform to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Proven ability to develop and lead a highly effective customer focused team.Electrical Distribution experience.The ability to demonstrate a flexible and creative approach to problem solving, good judgement and have a proactive attitude.Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with a collaborative style of engagement.A demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality services and meeting customer needs, both internally and externally.An uncompromising approach to health and safety with the ability to drive health and safety excellence.Experience with analysing data and formulating action plans while making sound decisions and recommendations.Proficiency at MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Have a clean and a full drivers licence.What You Can ExpectLike our customers, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
