This is achieved through mentoring and providing leadership, direction, and oversight.You will also be part of an enthusiastic and capable regional management team and be given support from the company directors and other executive team members to help you reach your goals.Relationship Management is an important part of this role, and you will be comfortable seeking out new opportunities to further the success of the Dunedin branch.About YouMinimum of 10 years in the construction industryBroad understanding of all areas of construction, including but not limited to administration, financial management, human resources, and health and safetyExceptional numeracy and analytical skillsProficient with Microsoft Windows (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project) and able to administer the company's accounting systemsRobust knowledge of established construction management methodologiesProven experience in construction management of similar typologies to ensure safety, quality, programme, risks, financial budgets, and margins are metKnowledge of design, consents, procurement, and relevant building legislative requirementsThe ability to challenge accepted practice and introduce new perspectives and innovationSound knowledge of health and safety regulations and practicesPositive, adaptable, driven, and have an energetic and optimistic attitude with proven leadership abilitiesKnowledge of New Zealand contracting conditions, including NZS3910, 3915, 3916, and NZIA contract conditionsCandidates must have the right to live and work in NZ.
