About the Role Dulux New Zealand is proudly an equal opportunity employer & we have an exciting opportunity for a go-getter with experience in building strong relationships.Based in Auckland and reporting to the Trade Sales Manager this full-time permanent position sees you working with a leading brand in a strong market position within primarily the architectural community. You will use your relationship building skills and commercial acumen to drive growth of the specification of our suite of products.Day to day you'll put your people & networking skills to the test, liaising with existing & new influential stakeholders within the specification sector to drive, secure, raise awareness and uptake of our solutions to specifiers, developers and industry influencers. Ideally you will already have a profile with architects and creating meaningful connections is your forte. Your ability to intuitively understand others' interests and communication styles makes you adept at establishing strong relationships.You will thrive on the challenge of adapting your approach to connect with a diverse range of customers and have the confidence as well as the drive & ability to quickly assimilate and interpret our products features and benefits for a range of customers. You will need to be resilient and adaptable and be able to open new doors and have conversations with customers who may not be familiar with our full range of products and solutions that we have to offer. We are looking for a highly motivated self starter, with energy and a willingness to learn and continually develop your skills and knowledge. Proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite is a must as is the ability to present in front of an audience. Your role will see you providing technical support, expert product knowledge and the capability to create and pull together memorable & informative presentations.
