Architectural Design Manager/Team Leader$110,000 – $130,000 per year + Annual BonusAbout the roleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Architectural Design Manager/Team Leader to join the growing team at Energy Efficient Homes Ltd. in Christchurch, Canterbury.
In this full-time role, you will lead a team of talented designers to create innovative and sustainable architectural solutions for our clients.What you'll be doingOversee and direct the work of the architectural design team, ensuring high-quality, innovative and energy-efficient designs are delivered on time and to budget.Collaborate closely with clients to understand their requirements and translate them into practical, functional and visually appealing architectural plans.Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the design team, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.Work closely with the wider project management and construction teams to ensure a seamless delivery process.Stay up-to-date with the latest architectural trends, technologies and building regulations to inform the team's work.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards.What we're looking forSignificant experience (8+ years) as an Architectural Design Manager or Senior Architect, leading a team of designers.Excellent technical knowledge of architectural design principles, building regulations and sustainable design practices.Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and team members effectively.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and the wider project team.Degree in Architecture or a related discipline, and a current professional registration.Proven track record of delivering high-quality, innovative and energy-efficient architectural designs.What we offerAt Energy Efficient Homes Ltd., we are committed to creating a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
