Aquatics Lifeguard

Enjoy an active role in our Aquatic Centre where you will play an important part in the day-to-day running of our recently extended and modern facility.
This is a full-time role (76 hours per fortnight) working a set roster.
As you work as part of our team you will have:

The ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
Maintain a safe environment for all our customers.
Deliver exceptional customer service to our facility users.
Pro-actively supervise the pool environment to prevent incidents, accidents, emergencies, and hazards.
The hours of work are as follows:

Week One

Monday, Thursday and Friday - 1.30pm - 9.30pm

Week Two

Monday - 7.00am - 3.00pm
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - 5.30am - 1.30pm
Saturday - 7.30am - 4.00pm
Sunday - 12.00pm - 8.30pm

About you:
Our ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in aquatics or sport and recreation.
We will provide fully paid Lifeguard training where you will gain a nationally recognised qualification, a high level of motivation and be keen to learn.
You will also have:

Experience in a customer-facing role.
A passion for community safety and wellness.
Comfort interacting with a wide variety of people.
Proactive, motivated, and keen to learn.
Confident swimming ability and be able to pass a swim test.
200m continuously in less than 6 mins
50m breaststroke
25m side stroke
5 mins treading water.
Picking up an object from the deepest part of the pool (2m)
