Aquaculture Technician – Marlborough Sounds

Our people are talented and driven, and we're looking for someone equally as passionate to join our Aquaculture team as an Aquaculture Technician. You will be involved in all aspects of fish farming, including feeding, net handling, diving activities, and aquaculture farm maintenance. This position is Monday to Friday, with hours of work from 7am to 4pm; however, some flexibility is needed.
Based in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds, you will be confident in and around the water and working in all weather conditions. A strong advantage in this role would be holding a Skipper Restricted Limits (SRL) qualification.
This is a hands-on role requiring a good level of physical fitness and will suit someone who prides themselves on their ability to work well in small teams and unsupervised while demonstrating a commitment to ensuring their own safety and the safety of those around them.
You will be self-directed and motivated, demonstrating good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
