We are looking for a skilled administrator who prides themselves on their customer service abilities to join our close-knit Referral & Appointment Centre admin team. The role supports our Counties Manukau clinical services in managing patient referrals, first specialist appointments, and elective surgical bookings. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, process-oriented role and take pride in your 'Attention to Detail' abilities, then you are exactly what we are looking for!
We currently have a full-time fixed-term position until September 2025 available, working Monday to Sunday and based at 15 Lambie Drive in Manukau City. You will need to be flexible to move to other areas/locations within Counties Manukau as required.
As well as communicating with our patient and whanau community, you will be working closely with clinicians, nurses, managers, and relevant teams involved in patient care.
It is essential you have:
Expert communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent time management & interpersonal ability
2+ years minimum experience in customer-focused administration, preferably in healthcare
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and a quick learner of IT applications
Confidence in the use of, and a quick learner of digital software applications
Experience working within a large & diverse team
