This role is very well suited for an individual who enjoys dealing with customers face-to-face and working in a mobile role that provides autonomy and variety.Predominantly the appliances and equipment we maintain are larger scale commercial refrigeration, dishwashers, ovens/hospitality equipment and will include exposure to new appliances you may not have gained prior exposure to - so being up to learn/read a manual when needed is a must.Supported by a reputable longstanding brand, great work pipeline, and a supportive technical manager who knows your job well. You will enjoy the ability to manage your workload while still being well supported internally. The role services New Plymouth wide and may provide travel opportunity outside the region in future if of interest to you.About you:We envision you to be an experienced Appliance technician (with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience), ideally you will hold a full NZ practicing license, or a minimum of EST license with an interest to further upskill. You will be a natural troubleshooter that enjoys working on a wide range of equipment and is a self-starter.
