As an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS) and People Lead you will lead a small Auckland based team in delivering local key infrastructure initiatives along with building the next generation of cloud platforms at Brunswick using the latest technology stacks – so this is an exciting time to join us.
About the role Your DevOps / continuous improvement mentality will directly contribute to driving the systems and security performance of our IT infrastructure. Key responsibilities of your role will be ensuring Cloud support and server provisioning, IP subnet/VLAN management, Cloud infrastructure, firewall request management, implementing security best practices, and enforcing network and system security for onsite and cloud systems.
About you As a people lead you will bring passion for your craft, providing the inspiration and clear direction that will seamlessly enable the execution and delivery of our IT initiatives. You are driven by a high-performance culture and the development of talent, through knowledge sharing, coaching and empowering your people. You get equal satisfaction from rolling up your sleeves and keeping your skills current.
Your proven track recording working across a variety of technical domains including Cloud Platforms, Automation Tools, Infrastructure and or Information Security will see you confidently facilitate an environment that brings collaboration and innovation with your key stakeholders.
You will ideally have a bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or equivalent. Certifications such as: PMP, Six Sigma, Azure DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Solutions Architect will also be looked on favorably.
