Psychology, Counselling & Social Work (Healthcare & Medical) $65k - $85k p.a. + Flexible Part Time Hours Work in a part time capacity within a local South Auckland Addictions service. Successful candidates will be registered with an HCPA bodyAbout the RoleWithin this innovative community-based AOD service located in Papakura, South Auckland, you'll work directly with adults aged 18 and older, offering holistic support tailored to their needs and comfort. Join a close-knit and supportive whanau, dedicated to aiding individuals dealing with AOD and/or Mental health issues. As part of this model of care, you'll engage in dual peer support and a clinician approach when working with adults, contributing to the ongoing development of the care model.Monday - Friday, standard operating hours (8am -4.30pm)Smaller caseloads, ensuring personalised care plans for each of your clientsPermanent part time role - 24 hours a weekFlexible, part time, working hours promoting a better work-life balanceAdditional paid leave allowances, including well-being days and study leaveAccess to wellbeing subsidies and other services like counselling and mental health workshopsSupportive team environment with external supervision and registration maintenance coveredProvision of work tools like a vehicle, phone, laptop, and ergonomic office setupOpportunities for professional growth and development within a national organizationResponsibilitiesWork within an innovative community-based AOD service in PapakuraProvide holistic support to adults aged 18 and olderEngage in dual peer support and a clinician approach to careContribute to the ongoing development of the care modelImplement principles of abstinence and harm reductionAssess AOD usage and create personalized support plansCollaborate with a Peer Support SpecialistSkills and ExperienceFull APC, DAPAANZ, or registration with a Professional Body covered by HCPA 2003 Act or Social Worker Registration Act 2003Minimum 2 years of post-qualifying experience in AOD services with adults is desirable but not essentialAdvanced communication and interpersonal skillsProficient documentation and computer skillsCommitment to the Treaty of Waitangi and culturally safe practiceFull New Zealand driver's licenseIf you are dedicated to providing holistic care for your AOD clients and have a passion for your local South Auckland community, Apply Today!Reference: 203457Not quite the job for you but know someone who would love to know about this role?
