Te Atea Marino is a Regional Maori Addiction Service, operating under the umbrella of Whitiki Maurea, part of the Waitemata District's Specialist Mental Health and Addiction Group.
We are a close-knit, supportive group who care about each other and go the extra mile when needed. You don't have to speak Te reo Maori, but you must understand and commit to the principles of the Tiriti O Waitangi (partnership, protection, participation) and the importance of Whare Tapa Wha, the four cornerstones of health: te taha wairua (spiritual aspects), te taha hinegaro (mental and emotional aspects), te taha whanau (family and community aspects), and te taha tinana (physical aspects).
This is an opportunity to experience support while working in a clinical yet culturally minded team. You will be welcomed warmly by all team members, including senior staff, and learn how a tikanga approach meets the needs of tangata whai i te ora and whanau.
We have full-time positions available in our South Team, located at 7 Ronwood Avenue, Manukau.
