Animal Support Officers

You may come with compliance experience or be someone with all the right qualities and have the ability and desire to learn.
These are permanent part-time roles working Monday to Friday and occasionally cover after-hours services.
The ideal candidate will excel in interacting with a diverse range of individuals, have experience in handling dogs and stock and the ability to show professionalism in relation to the safety and welfare of animals and people.
About you Great communication and proven conflict resolution skills.The ability to make sound decisions whilst demonstrating consistency and compliance with legislation.The ability to think on your feet and resolve situations when they arise.An understanding of office systems and associated information technology.Investigation skills and an understanding of legislation would be ideal.Strong customer service ethic and confidence to assist and educate animal owners to meet their compliance obligations.Attention to detail and a demonstrated track record of being able to follow protocols and procedures.Good, effective verbal and written communication skills.A clean, full drivers' licence is essential.If you want to be part of an amazing team serving our community, then we would love to hear from you!
