We are keen to speak to an experienced Animal Management Officer or someone with a positive outgoing attitude who has experience liaising with members of the public, complainants, SPCA, NZ Police, DOC, community organisations and local Iwi.About the role:Responding to requests for service/complaints as per legislative and bylaw requirements.Undertake investigations of complaints and provide written report/recommendations to team leader/manager.Undertake compliance/enforcement actions including impounding dogs, property inspections, infringements.Provide education and advice to dog owners and non-dog owners from all walks of life on safe animal practices.Becoming an Animal Management Officer is a unique and challenging role that requires a combination of skills, education, and personal attributes.
