Anexa Veterinary Services is looking for an experienced (8+ years) senior production animal veterinarian to join our supportive, driven, and fun Gordonton team, only 10 minutes out of Hamilton!
About the production animal role: This is a production animal role with a heavy dairy focus. You will collaborate closely with farmer clients, providing expert veterinary care and overseeing comprehensive herd health management, including disease prevention, biosecurity, and animal welfare support.
You will leverage our in-house laboratory and diagnostic tools to inform and enhance decision-making on the farm, ensuring the best outcomes for both animals and clients. Additionally, this role involves offering mentorship and guidance to junior veterinarians, helping them develop their skills and expertise.
About you: You will be an experienced production animal or mixed practice veterinarian with a proven track record in providing exceptional veterinary care and management to livestock clients. You're passionate about finding effective animal health solutions, working closely with clients, their teams, and the broader Anexa network to achieve the best outcomes.
