As an analyst, FEC First Line Monitoring and Assurance you play an important role in ensuring the bank's compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Sanctions requirements.
Your area of expertise covers multiple financial economic crime (FEC) disciplines, processes and teams.
The role is responsible for supporting FEC controls operated in the region, ensuring the Division maintains all aspects of the Rabobank Australia and New Zealand (RANZ) Risk Control Framework (RCF) (including Compliance) on a day-to-day basis.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the adoption and effective implementation of Rabobank's Risk Management Framework and Compliance Framework within W & R FEC Operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesRisk and Compliance Integration: You drive the incorporation of risk and compliance management practices into the day-to-day activities of FEC W & R Operations – RANZ.
This involves providing assurance to ensure files align to processes, policies, and practices with the established frameworks.Change Agent: As a change agent, you promote a strong risk culture within the 1st line of defence.
Your influence helps the FEC W & R Operations team achieve their business objectives.Collaboration and Support: You collaborate with teams regionally, ensuring efficient and effective risk management practices.
While you don't assume the role of a Risk Owner, you facilitate the resolution of risk and compliance challenges.Regulatory Environment: Given the increasing scrutiny from regulators in both Australia, New Zealand, and the Netherlands, your role contributes to the bank's long-term success.
The 'license to operate' relies on demonstrating a cohesive Risk Management Framework and Compliance Framework.Collaborating closely with teams across Australia, New Zealand and globally, you will uphold high-quality standards, ensuring accurate and timely identification of issues, as well as providing up-to-date reporting on assurance outcomes.
Effective communication skills are essential as you liaise with stakeholders.
The role would suit a candidate with a willingness to learn, who is ambitious and self-motivated.
You'll be joining a supportive team environment, so it's important to be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
You'll also bring to the role:
