Details of the offer

As the Analyst, Data & Insights, you will enhance decision making by providing and analysing a variety of information to achieve and improve key business objectives.
This role focuses on the use of analytical and reporting tools, optimizing data processes, and using storytelling to vividly present MPP's narratives.
The salary range for this role is $66,930 to $100,394.
Starting salary will be based on the knowledge, skills, and experience the successful candidate brings to the role.
Full time, permanent position.
Wellington based.

Our ideal candidate for the Analyst, Data & Insights role possesses the following skills and experiences: A relevant qualification or equivalent experience in data analytics, research, evidence-based decision making, or insights generation.
Interest or experience in supporting the development and implementation of data management processes.
Proficient use of digital tools to create visual stories that express and interpret data.
Ability to build productive relationships with team members and effectively support staff across the Ministry.
Good written and verbal communication skills adaptable to various formal and informal contexts.
Able to demonstrate sound judgment.
Awareness / Understanding of machinery of government.
