About the Role We are looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Technician to work alongside the Theatre team based in Thames.
While the role itself will be predominantly based in Thames you will be required to work in Waikato when required.
This opportunity offers a much smaller rural based hospital theatre experience, and you will be required to have worked in all specialities including:

Trauma and critical care Elective and acute theatres including gynaecology, urology, orthopaedics, and plastics General surgical theatres including colorectal, breast surgery, and endoscopic procedures Complex and challenging theatres Working with Paediatrics Skills and Experience Required: Extensive knowledge and understanding of airway management At least 3 years working as an Anaesthetic Technician (private or public) Experience in working with various patient monitoring machines Able to work rostered shifts Must be registered and have an APC with Medical Science Council with no restrictions/supervision requirements Have or be willing to undertake the preceptorship training to work closely with our trainees, new staff, and AUT placements Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
