About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Anaesthetic Technician to work alongside the Theatre team based in Thames.
While the role itself will be predominantly based in Thames you will be required to work in Waikato when required.
While this opportunity offers a much smaller rural based hospital theatre experience you will be required to have worked in all specialities including: Trauma and critical careElective and acute theatres which include gynaecology, urology, orthopaedics, plasticsGeneral surgical theatres include colorectal, breast surgery and endoscopic proceduresComplex and challenging theatresWorking with Paediatrics About the LocationThames is situated 1.5 hours' drive from Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga and is located between the Firth of Thames and the majestic ranges of The Coromandel.
The Coromandel is a renowned outdoor haven with an idyllic coastline and Thames is no exception, with its spectacular Pinnacles walk set in the Kauaeranga Valley to the sheltered and abundant waters of the Hauraki Gulf.
