Te Whatu Ora (Nelson Marlborough) Theatre Suite consists of 6 Operating Theatres with a Recovery Room, a Sterile Services department and Endoscopy suite.

We are a friendly and supportive team focusing on providing a caring and professional environment, delivering quality care and extended nursing practice.

Surgical specialties covered include: General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Dental, Acute / Trauma, Paediatrics, Plastics and Vascular.

We have these opportunities currently available: Anaesthetic Technician 0.8 FTE permanent part-time, 64 hours per fortnight (2 positions) Anaesthetic Technician 0.5 FTE fixed term part-time, 40 hours per fortnight Please include on your cover letter which role you'd like to be considered for.

Ko wai he kaitono totika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?) To be considered for these positions you must be a Registered Anaesthetic Technician or a RNAA, with a current APC issued by The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ), or be eligible for the same.

You will be a team player who: The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
