About the role
Work as part of the operating team in a modern and well equipped facility. Make use of your expertise with peri-operative anaesthetic technology to deliver a customer focused service second to none.
Permanent positon
Full time
Monday to Friday –no weekend work.

What you have to do: Provide high quality clinical assistance to Anaesthetists and theatre team
Assist the theatre team with all facets of anaesthesia
Deliver safe and professional practices
Prepare patients for anaesthesia or sedation including, documentation, equipment checking, positioning, cannulating, and handovers to other team members
Be a team player as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Participate in training sessions as required
Skills & Experience A qualified Anaesthetic Technician OR experienced RNAA
Must be registered with Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand OR New Zealand Nursing Council
Have a current Annual Practicing Certificate/APC or ability to obtain this
Proven previous experience in operating theatres
Clear and effective communication is essential
Proven ability to work in a co-operative environment
Overall professional presentation
