Aluminium Installer/Welder Work with an industry leader manufacturing architectural aluminium products such as doors, railings, roofing and guttering, or aluminium framed windows, doors or shower screens (complete with glass). The opportunities and perks of the job include: Competitive rates matched with a reputable company Full-time, permanent employment Learning and development to master your craft As an Installer, you will be expected to perform the following tasks: Maintain a high quality of standards when installing aluminium windows and doors to meet shop drawings specifications for whom the building facades and curtain walls are for Ensure all variations are notified immediately to Project Managers Remedy maintenance items to obtain practical completion As a Welder, you will be expected to perform the following tasks: Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine job requirements Select, clean and prepare metal stock Cut marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal cutting machines Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand and machine tools, and by heating and hammering Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments Join metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and precision Finish products by cleaning, polishing, filing and bathing in acidic solutions Clean and smooth welds by filing, chiselling and grinding If you have at least 3 years of experience and knowledge, APPLY NOW!
