About Us: Tradestaffs client are the leading providers in the window fabrication industry, specializing in aluminium joinery and window installation. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service. We are currently seeking a skilled Onsite Fabricator to join our dynamic team. Role and Responsibilities: Fabrication Work: Perform onsite fabrication tasks including maintenance, reworks, and warranty work. Documentation: Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and signed. Payment Processing: Handle onsite payments with clients. Stock Management: Oversee stock levels in your van and manage van and truck maintenance. Loading and Delivery: Safely load, restrain, and deliver joinery products; assist with unloading. Machinery Use: Check, cut, prep, and build all necessary parts for aluminium joinery; develop fabrication skills across all machinery. Training: Participate in all relevant training sessions. Quality Control: Ensure products meet regulation build requirements and company standards. Work Area Maintenance: Keep work areas clean and organized. Health and Safety: Comply with all health and safety policies and take all practical steps to ensure personal safety at work. Policy Adherence: Follow all company policies, including not engaging in unlawful conduct and adhering to lawful and reasonable directions. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in fabrication with excellent problem-solving skills. Skills: Ability to work without close supervision, excellent communication skills, and a great eye for detail. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 25kg and work comfortably at heights. Attitude: A "can-do" approach, strong teamwork abilities, and a desire to produce high-quality finished products. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Client Understanding: Ability to understand client and business needs to make informed financial decisions. Documentation: Ability to read job sheets and complete documentation accurately. Compliance: Ability to comply with company policies and health and safety regulations.
