Job Description - Allied Health Professional, Mana Ake Program in Schools (ROT03079)Allied Health Professional, Mana Ake Program in SchoolsVacancy No: ROT03079About the RoleThis role will be responsible for delivering early interventional health and wellbeing guidance, support and service within Kaupapa Maori Kura. The Mana Ake service is led by health but delivered in collaboration with education, enabling the delivery of support where initial discovery of wellbeing need is often identified in a community setting.The clinical mental health and wellbeing workforce will deliver evidence informed individual, group and whole of class wellbeing programmes/interventions for tamariki as well as broader wellbeing cluster support to kura.The Clinician will form part of a culturally responsive workforce focused on building whakawhanaungatanga and relationships and will walk alongside tamariki and whanau on their wellbeing journey.The design and delivery of wellbeing support will be informed by tamariki and families/whanau voice, including ongoing delivery. Providing mechanisms and taking on board tamariki and whanau input is essential.The role will report to the Clinical Team Leader.About YouYou should have:A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
