We are looking for motivated and passionate Occupational Therapists and Social Workers to join the Allied Health New Entry to Specialist Practice (AH NESP) programme within the Specialist Mental Health Service (SMHS), Waitaha Canterbury. These positions are supernumerary, with the opportunity to work alongside experienced Mental Health staff for the first 12 months to consolidate and develop your clinical skills.The NESP programme will include:Provision of a preceptor/work placement or, and a thorough orientation and training package.Regular clinical supervision, tutorials, and workshops with other NESP trainees.Rotation through 2 different clinical areas within SMHS for the purposes of broadening experience and developing profession-specific skills.Completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Health Science (Allied Mental Health and Addictions).
