Allied Health Assistant - Short Term Loan Equipment Store at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Southern, OtagoDunedinPermanent, 1.0 FTE (40hrs per week) opportunityOur Allied Health Unit based at Wakari Hospital has a rare opportunity for a motivated individual to join their Short-Term Loan Equipment Services Team.Mo te turanga - About the roleWorking closely with other departments throughout the hospital, duties for this role will include:Issuing short term loan equipment (i.e. wheelchairs, mobility equipment, bathroom equipment etc.) primarily for use in the communityUndertaking or arranging for the delivery and installation of specific equipment and collection as requiredEnsuring short term loan equipment is cleaned and maintained to an acceptable standardMaintaining equipment inventories and systems for replacementContributing as a valued member of the Allied Health teamTo be successful in this role you will be a team player with the ability to manage your workload and prioritise effectively. You will have exceptional organisational skills, with an eye for detail that will see you maintain data and records accurately and efficiently.
