Nga mohiohio e pa ana ki tenei mahi (About this position) As an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), you will join our Allied Health team supporting our services to provide care to clients within the Marlborough community.
You will work under the supervision of Registered Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to provide safe, efficient, and effective AHA interventions in the hospital and the clients' homes.
The role will also include effective management of resources and equipment.
This is a permanent, part-time position working 60 hours a fortnight (0.75 FTE).
The salary range is $72,074 to $86,719 per annum pro rata.

You will be a practical, well-organized, and physically fit person with life experience and excellent written and oral communication skills.
You'll have a friendly and welcoming manner with the ability to relate to a broad range of people of all ages.
It will also be important that you can work under direction, be a cooperative team player who is supportive of your colleagues, and work in a flexible, positive manner displaying an appropriate level of initiative.
A Home Carer Certificate, or equivalent, and/or experience within the health sector is preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Qualifications It's essential that you have Year 11 - NCEA Level 1 English and Maths (or equivalent) and a current full driver's licence.
The NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, if not previously obtained, is to be completed within 2 years of commencement, or to be commenced within your first year of employment.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
