Through integration and collaboration, we're building a health system underpinned by partnership, equity, sustainability, whanau-centred care, and excellence.About the roleThe Allied Health Administration Support role is part of a two-person Administration Support team and together they are responsible for providing professional, proactive and efficient administration support to enable the effective running of the Te Tai o Poutini West Coast Allied Health Services.Experience for this role is not essential; however, you should be adaptable, efficient & innovative to support this dynamic and busy team.As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement, this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4.Specifically, the role is responsible for:Reception service, always maintaining a high standard of customer serviceProviding assistance to clinicians with accessing patient files, correspondence, photocopying, scanning, minute taking, distribution of meeting invites and minutes, report writing, and monitoring emailsPreparing & managing Allied Health referrals for triaging, uploading into the patient management system and liaising with patients for appointmentsSupport tracking of short-term loan equipment & hired equipment as well as supporting collection of equipment from our StoresComplete orders for clinical & non-clinical supplies and raise Purchase OrdersCommitment to ongoing self-development, including completion of mandatory training within set time framesAbout the Team/Service/LocationOur West Coast Allied Health Team includes Allied Health Assistants/Kaiawhina, Dietetics, Music Therapy, National Travel Assistance Coordination, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, and Speech Language Therapy.
We are based out of Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika and deliver assessment and intervention within inpatient, outpatient, and community settings covering the West Coast from Karamea to Haast.About youEligibility/work visa to work in NZMinimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar roleNCEA level 1-2 or equivalent (required passes in English and Math)Intermediate to advanced user in Microsoft Suite (e.g.
