Lodge Assistant – All-Rounder/ Kitchen/ Front of house/ HousekeepingThe Timber Trail Lodge is situated at the halfway point of the Timber Trail located in the center of the North Island - nestled in the heart of Pureora Forest. The lodge primarily provides accommodation, transport and bike hire for users on the Timber Trail which is one of New Zealand's most renowned Great Rides.We are seeking experienced all-rounders, either local or live-in, to join our team in October for our 2024 - 2025 summer season.The standard roles include a range of customer service tasks, including front of house, food and bar service, kitchen and food preparation, housekeeping, and administration. We provide a thorough induction and job training in a supportive team environment.We are looking for applicants with a great customer service ethic and the ability to work in a team environment. Applicants must be able to work on a roster across all days of the week. Couples are welcome to apply!A Licensed Controller Qualification or previous bar manager certification is desirable, as well as any kitchen qualifications. Experience in cooking, front of house, and cleaning is also welcomed. Given the remote location, access to transport in and out of the forest is recommended.We will consider candidates who either travel in or live in.
