As the Lounge Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of dedicated hospitality professionals.Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Ensure smooth daily operations of the lounge, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and quality control.Guest Experience: Uphold high standards of service to exceed guest expectations and ensure satisfaction.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise lounge staff, fostering a positive work environment and providing guidance for professional growth.Financial Management: Monitor expenses and revenues, implement cost-control measures, and achieve financial targets.Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests.Compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, and licensing regulations.Requirements:Proven experience as an Airline Lounge Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.Strong understanding of hospitality procedures and best practices.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.Certification in Food Handling and Alcohol Service strongly desired.Travel between Christchurch and Queenstown Airports will be required.
