Oaklands Global are currently recruiting an Airport Fuel Manager for one of our leading clients based in Dorset.
The successful candidate will oversee airport fuel installations and fuelling services, ensuring compliance with CAA, JIG, HMRC, legal, and fuel provider requirements.ResponsibilitiesManage fuelling services, ensuring timely and compliant fuel receipt, delivery, and in-to-plane duties.Control departmental budgets, including overtime, communications, uniforms, fuel, vehicle maintenance, and equipment hire.Ensure staff adherence to procedures and safety management protocols.Maintain up-to-date risk assessments and written procedures.Plan and manage shift schedules and rosters, providing additional cover as needed.Oversee training and maintain training records to meet compliance standards.Lead development of airport fuel operational training standards.Ensure fuel quality meets regulatory and provider standards.Manage inspection and maintenance of vehicles and equipment, addressing deficiencies.Ensure unserviceable equipment is not used and coordinate with relevant departments.Review reports from Aircraft Refuelling Supervisors for MORC submission.Oversee procurement of fuelling operation assets.Manage purchase and delivery of various fuels, reporting to accounts for stock control.Person Specification:Current HGV class 1Aircraft refuelling competence (equivalent to JIG 1/2)Aviation fuel management trainingIOSH qualificationAviation health and safety and security reportingFinancial and regulatory complianceEnvironmental issues in fuelling5+ years managing fuel farm operationsRecent airport driving experienceCustomer relationship managementMonthly MORC returnsVehicle/equipment maintenance managementFuelling operations trainingFire marshal/security experienceWhy work with Oaklands Global?Oaklands Global has 50 years combined experience supporting candidates at all levels to help identify and secure their next position.
