What is a Passenger Service Agent (PSA)?
You will be the face of Planebiz Queenstown and the three airlines we represent. Greeting passengers from all over the world, assisting and guiding them every step on their journey through the Airport. From Check-in and bag drop, to boarding gates and arrivals, they ensure customers are kept well-informed and are in the right place at the right time, following safety, security, and airline-specific procedures. As a PSA, you will put all passengers' needs at the heart of everything you do.
Assist passengers with check-in procedures, including issuing boarding passes and baggage tags.
Provide information about flight schedules, boarding procedures, and airport services.
Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to ticketing, baggage, and flight changes.
Collaborate with other airport staff and airline personnel to ensure efficient operations.
Adhere to safety and security protocols at all times.
What skills are we looking for?
At least 2 years customer service experience
Passion for Travel & Tourism
A respectful, friendly approach
Reliability, punctuality, and organizational skills
Flexibility to work a 24/7 rotating roster
The ability to adapt to changing priorities and situations
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a must.
Familiarity with airline reservation systems is certainly an advantage.
And MOST IMPORTANTLY, a can-do attitude!
Must meet the following requirements:
You must be a New Citizen or permanent resident
Pass a medical assessment
Pass a Ministry of Justice check

Working in an airport environment: You must follow not just our policies and procedures but also those of other airport agencies. To gain an Airport ID Card, you must have a clear criminal history which will be checked by us and the Civil Aviation Authority, as well as hold a valid full New Zealand driving license.
