Suitable candidates will be required to deliver a range of aircraft ramp services including baggage handling based at Queenstown Airport What you'll be doing Load and unload baggage and cargo from the aircraft according to safety and operational procedures.Transport baggage between terminal facilities and the aircraft using various equipment, such as conveyor belts, tugs, and carts.Ensure that baggage and cargo are properly secured and distributed within the aircraft.Handle special cargo, including fragile items, oversized baggage, and hazardous materials, with care and attention to detail.Collaborate with other ground crew members and airline personnel to maintain efficient operations.Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times, including proper handling of equipment and compliance with hazardous materials procedures. What we need from youPhysical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, including baggage and cargo, repeatedly throughout the shift.Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient handling of baggage and cargo.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Previous experience in baggage handling, cargo handling, or related field is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.Must be reliable and motivated to work.Must hold a full NZ driver's License (Full) not negotiable.
