Aircraft Maintenance Engineer X

New Zealand Aircraft Engineering Ltd. is an aircraft maintenance and repair business based at Oamaru airport. Along with maintaining the fleet of the academy based at Oamaru airport, NZAE also maintains some aircraft for private and commercial operators, and provides maintenance control services. Due to strong growth in activity and a forecast of significant growth in the future, we are seeking 2X Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join the team; reporting to the Chief Engineer. You must meet at least one of the following requirements: - have completed a qualification in aircraft maintenance engineering in New Zealand OR - have practical experience working on aircraft OR - have practical experience working on automobiles as a mechanic OR - have a desire to start your career in aircraft engineering. Preferably you will: - have experience on Tecnam aeroplanes and Rotax engines (not mandatory). - demonstrate a clear understanding of NZCAA rules (not mandatory) To be successful in the role, you need to: - have a keen interest in the maintenance of general aviation aircraft. - be flexible in the hours that you will be working.
