Kia ora! Air New Zealand Engineering and Maintenance in Christchurch has vacancies for permanent Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Structures to join their team. In this role you will be performing metal structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and components on the Air New Zealand fleet and customer aircraft. We seek a person that is committed to a safe workplace, is passionately customer focused, and who is comfortable working as part of a team. You'll be adept at thinking outside the square while meeting compliance and company legislative/regulatory standards. Strong communication skills are critical, as well as the ability to relate and interact with a wide range of people on a day-to-day basis. The technical skills you need: You will have a strong understanding of the Air New Zealand values with the ability to focus on our goals of Safe/Compliant/Efficient. Completed Trade Apprenticeship - aircraft industry or Level 4 National Certificate. Knowledge and experience suitable for working on a broad range of repairs and fabrication of products relating to aircraft metal structure. Previous structures/metal working experience is required.
