Air New Zealand's Christchurch Maintenance Base is entering an exciting new stage.With the aim of growing our established Workforce to ensure we have the skills and experience needed to match future demand over the coming years, we now have positions available for start in early to mid-2025.These are permanent opportunities based in Christchurch for qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs and LAMEs) across all trade groups including:MechanicalAvionicsSheet Metal/StructuresPaintersAircraft TrimmersCompositesNon-Destructive Testing (NDT).There are multiple full-time (40 hours per week) day & shift work opportunities across days & afternoons, weekdays & weekends.You will be:Committed to maintaining a safe workplacePassionately customer focusedComfortable working individually and as part of a team.Adept at thinking outside the square while always meeting regulatory and company standards whilst also being flexible in the areas that you work.You will have proven hands-on experience with component changes, servicing, inspections, planned and unplanned maintenance, modification work at both Base (Heavy) Maintenance and/or Line (up to A check) Maintenance levels.As well as hands-on experience, you will need strong communication skills as these are critical in your ability to relate and interact with a diverse range of people on a day-to-day basis.
