Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) - Mechanical
The opportunity As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with Airbus at Ardmore, you will be responsible for carrying out technical work as directed, to a high standard and in compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Team Lead Ardmore Maintenance, you will be part of a wider team which provides aircraft and component maintenance, manufacture, repair and overhaul services for Civil Helicopters customers.
The role works closely with the MRO Planning team to ensure on-time service delivery to customers. You will have signatory responsibilities and may hold authorisations in compliance with regulatory requirements.

The skills and experience suited to this role: NZ recognised Aeronautical Engineering certificate - minimum Level 4; or, for ex-military personnel, completion of technical training; or a CAANZ AME License Experience in aircraft maintenance, particularly with Airbus civil helicopters Knowledge of, and ability to apply, relevant regulations, standards, policies and procedures Ability to access and interpret all applicable technical data, drawings and bulletins Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality and customer satisfaction An effective communicator with the ability to convey messages clearly and concisely Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and work under pressure Effective time management skills with the ability to achieve business outcomes to a defined schedule Commitment to the value of teamwork and sharing of information and experience Why us We seek to inspire our people to grow, so you have the right mindset, behaviours and skills to thrive and achieve the organisation goals whilst being focused on your personal development through classroom and online learning.
