With the upcoming retirement of a valued long-standing team member, we are seeking an experienced Agronomist to join our team. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this role focuses on providing expert agronomy advice and solutions to our clients, helping them achieve their farming goals.
Key Responsibilities: Advise, manage, and service the agronomy needs of our pastoral and arable clients.Collaborate with the Agronomy team to identify new opportunities and drive business growth.Partner with key suppliers to deliver tailored advice and solutions to farmers.Work closely with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service across all aspects of the business.Key Requirements: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong computer literacy.Highly organised with a proven work ethic.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.Minimum of two years' experience in agronomy or a similar role, with in-depth knowledge of the agricultural industry.This is a permanent position, based in Canterbury, offering a competitive remuneration package including a company vehicle.
