Agricultural Machinery Operator

Machinery OperatorArlake Ltd is looking for a machinery operator for our dairy farm, silage support blocks, and grain operation.
We run our own workshop and do our own silage, cultivation, digger work/drainage, slurry, and much more.
This job will involve operating various equipment, including: Cultivation equipment Silage harvesting gear such as Claas chopper, rake, and loader wagon 20 & 12t diggers Loaders Mixer wagon Slurry tanker Grain equipment such as fert spreaders, sprayers, combine harvester, and balers Many other jobs as required in farming We are a family-owned & operated business located in the Grove Bush area, 25km from Winton & Invercargill.
If you have experience operating this type of equipment, we would like to hear from you.
You must have a good work ethic and be prepared to work extended hours as required during busy times of year.
This position could suit a mechanic or engineer who is looking for a variation of work while still being in a workshop role some of the time.
This is a full-time permanent position, but we would consider applicants who only want a seasonal fixed-term job.
Qualities we are looking for: Good time management and communication skills Able to work independently and/or as part of a team Hold a minimum of full class 1 licence A Class 4 and 5 licence would be an advantage but not essential Willing to work flexible hours including some weekends during peak times Willing to undertake general farm work or in the workshop when not operating the tractors/trucks/diggers elsewhere Have the legal right to work in NZ i.e.
