Agribusiness Area Manager, Canterbury Permanent, Full time Canterbury region Mo te Turanga | About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Relationships Agribusiness, you will manage a cohort of Agribusiness Relationship Managers across the Canterbury region and be instrumental in developing and embedding a strong team culture. You will manage workflow and capacity whilst building capability, both technical and soft skills, ensuring you role model change whilst ensuring activities and behaviours are at the required level.
As the face of Westpac Agribusiness and Westpac in the Canterbury geographic regions of responsibility, you will work closely with the Head of Relationships on strategies and leading the execution of these. Exceptional leadership will see you manage Risk and Compliance disciplines, people KPI's and be responsible for performance management, recruitment, development and succession planning for the region.

Experience and sound knowledge of product and pricing, compliance, credit risk, and profit and loss management.
Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills ensure you have a strong presence in the relevant markets and can communicate with credibility across a high level of senior stakeholder management.
