Hours of work will depend on the specific role.
If you wish to be a staff member the times can vary between 5 - 25 hours per week during the term time and 25 to 40 hours per week during school holiday periods (depending on your availability).
Applicants must be able to work in a team environment, have good communication skills, be physically fit and, enjoy working with children.
Desired Experience: ~ Previous experience coaching sports to 5 - 10 year olds ~ Previous experience in the planning and delivery of OSCAR programmes ~ Previous experience working with children in structured programmes ~ Previous experience supervising/managing staff - Delivering Sport or physical activity based programmes ~ First Aid Certificate desirable Employment Contract: ~ This position is subject to a part time employment contract and pending a police check Desired Requirements: ~ A desire to deliver quality programmes for groups of children aged between 5 and 13 years ~ Strong communication skills ~ Able to deliver activities with a loud voice ~ A reasonable level of physical fitness ~ Good time management skills ~ Previous experience supervising children using behaviour management techniques ~ A proven ability to think on the go ~ Confidence to take control of difficult situations Position Duties: ~ Ensure all planned activities are for the enjoyment and safety of the children on the programmes ~ Follow all Programme Policies and Procedures Note: successful applicants will be required to have a police check.
