In order to keep our machinery running smoothly we need an afternoon shift electrician to join our team. Based in our production facility in Pah Road, our Maintenance Electrician plays an important role in keeping our factory running by partnering with production to troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns.Responsibilities IncludePerforming maintenance repairs to electrical equipment in the factoryDiagnosing and rectifying faults under the pressure of unscheduled downtime to maximise plant availability.Updating electrical circuit drawings when modifications are made to keep a currently accurate set of drawings.Your SkillsFood industry, or experience in a high speed manufacturing setting is preferredFormal electrical trade qualificationExposure to PLC's, control systems and instrumentationExcellent people skills and the ability to communicate at all levels within an organisation.Ability to multitask and problem-solve with a 'can do' attitudeAbility to cope with pressure and work independently and as part of a teamAble to work Sunday to Thursday 16:00 – 11:30About SanitariumSanitarium believes in the potential of every New Zealander to live well.
