The Pacific Coast Care Centre - Te Manaaki is a continuation of this considered design, crafted to provide residents with a sense of luxury and security in their latter years. The completion of the Care Centre will allow Pacific Coast Village to offer a full continuum of care from independent living, serviced apartments to residential care - with quality and consistency throughout.
The Care Centre is a modern facility with 57 highly appointed care suites over two levels, offering rest home, dementia, and hospital level care. Like other Generus Living care centres, Te Manaaki will place a significant emphasis on personalised care, where residents will take the lead in their own lifestyle and be supported by a collaborative approach between our clinical staff and family. This extra time, effort, and energy to adopt and engage in this model of care delivers significant outcomes, enhancing the daily life of both our residents and team.
We are seeking an exceptional person to join our team as a Night Registered Nurse. An individual that shares our passion for quality and a high standard of nursing care. This position offers competitive remuneration, education support, access to free confidential employee support services, excellent working environment, and a focus on quality. Full time role covering 5 nights per week. Beginning 26 August, 2024. Either holds New Zealand Nursing Council CAP (Competency Assessment Programme) approval or is in the process of completing the New Zealand Nursing Council registration requirements. The hourly rate for this role exceeds the NZ median wage. Minimum 1 year's post-graduate experience (preferably aged care or medical setting). Inter Rai competency advantageous. Pacific Coast Care Centre - Te Manaaki offers RLOC, HLOC, and Palliative up to end-of-life care. The Successful Candidate will have Excellent clinical assessment and observation skills Innate empathy and interpersonal skills with people in their latter years The ability to work independently The ability to assess residents, develop and review Personalised Nursing Care plans through skilled nursing assessment and accurate documentation Leading and mentoring Care Assistants through driving improvements and best practices Effective written and oral communication A strong solution-focused approach An appreciation and drive for high-end quality care and service delivery.
