After School Programmes Coordinator - PinehavenY-Central IncListed 10 days agoListing DescriptionLocationJob typeDurationDuration: PermanentDescriptionAs Programme Coordinator for Y Kids in Pinehaven, you'll have autonomy to develop and run the programme, lead a small team, build relationships with parents and the school, and ensure that child safety and administrative tasks are taken care of. Our wider Y Kids Hutt Valley Team will support you in this.Our programme is well established and enjoyed by our kids, but there's always room for new ideas, so we'd love you to bring your creativity and energy to enhance it further.This is a 28-hour per week position that includes both before school and after school hours, with time in between for personal interests or commitments. It's also term time only, so you'll have school holidays to yourself or to spend with your own family.Our ideal candidate will have some experience working with children and in a leadership role, but most importantly, a desire to work in a high-energy environment and make a positive difference to the kids and families of our community.Y Central is committed to Child Protection and the safeguarding of children and young people in our care, and it is our expectation that all staff will operate in a way that reflects this intent.
