To cater for our growing workload within one of our business units, we are seeking an individual who isn't afraid to jump up on roofs, work in tight spaces, and perform heavy lifting, to complete physical home technology, Freeview, and Sky installations throughout the region.

We are looking for
Someone with 2-5 years of practical work experience in an environment ideally exposed to audio-visual, networking, automation and I.T. technologies at various customer sites.
It is essential that you have a great attitude and be genuinely passionate about doing things better and more efficiently while constantly seeking improvement. You must be a dynamic & keen technician with excellent organisational and time management skills as a large amount of your work will be conducted independently. You will however have the ability to work within a growing team, covering both projects and operational work.
We are seeking an individual with the following skills:
Comfortable with installation of set top boxes, satellite dishes, cabling and related equipment at the premises of customers
Knowledge of audio-visual systems (e.g. TV, home theatre, freeview, Sky, etc)
Knowledge of networking setups (e.g. WiFi, network routers and switches)
Knowledge of I.T. concepts (e.g. workstations, servers, general computer assistance, etc)
Knowledge of data cabling concepts and terminations (e.g. Cat5e/Cat6 ethernet, RG6 coaxial, speaker cabling, etc)
Comfortable in adhering to, and maintaining Health & Safety policies
Comfortable working at heights
Customer service, relationship and sales experience
Assisting our other business units with your knowledge and experience as required
Job and project management experience
Pre-existing Sky contractor approval would be an advantage
Genuine ability and passion to drive the business forward
You will also have the ability to build excellent working relationships externally and internally, and have excellent problem solving and communication skills.
We will require you to have a full clean NZ drivers license and existing rights to work in New Zealand.
