Phillipstown Community Centre Charitable Trust – Christchurch, South Island Phillipstown Community Centre Charitable Trust (PCCCT) is seeking an Advisory Board Member to join our Board of Trustees. Our Trust Board is focused on strengthening our governance and bringing in diverse skills and lived experiences to support the governance of Phillipstown Community Hub. Whether you're working full time or part time, taking a break, on parental leave or a full-time parent, a student, self-employed or retiree, if you have ties to our community and are keen to get involved, we're interested to hear from you and the experience you could bring to the governance of Phillipstown Community Hub.
About PCCCT and The Phillipstown Hub Phillipstown Community Hub is the beating heart of the Phillipstown community. Run and managed by the Phillipstown Community Centre Charitable Trust (PCCCT), the Hub is home to a number of community organisations that offer a wide range of activities, services and programmes to our local residents (as well as to wider Otautahi).
Established in 1998 by local residents for local residents, PCCCT brings meaningful connections and deep roots to the area where it operates. In the last 25 years the Trust has maintained a strong link with the community and an innovative approach to the community development field.
Time Commitment This is a voluntary position that involves attending a 3-hour board meeting once per month and participating in organisational events. The estimated time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per month.
